Ok it’s November 2nd and according to most of social media I should have had my entire house already decorated for Christmas, right? But seriously. Every single post (including mine) is now decked out in Christmas decor and I can’t say I blame them. I love the holiday season. The glowy trees, the festive music, the chilly temperatures…I literally wait all year for these special few months! You might assume every pumpkin is gone and a giant tree is sitting in my family room but I am actually easing my way into full on Christmas decor. I’m starting with a little tablescape idea I am planning on using this year for BOTH of my families! If you haven’t noticed by now, Walmart doesn’t mess around with home decor anymore. Don’t believe me? I mean look at this photo! Everything used to style and decorate for the holidays comes from Walmart’s home line and if you were wondering if it was affordable – YES IT IS.

Most years I still with the classic red and green, sometimes green, gold, and neutrals, but this year the bold black decor just kept calling my name!
